Bizarre and Amazing Fire Illusion

I've come across my fair share of illusions. This one, however, is not a picture. Instead, it's 3D. It's real. It's on video. An excellent take on angles and perspective. Put briefly, absolutely amazing.

Optical Illusion: Frog Or Horse?

Looking at this first picture, what do you see? I presume you see a frog; right? Now, can you see a horse in the same picture? Try not to cheat by scrolling down to the 2nd picture, which makes seeing the horse easier. Instead, try to see the horse in this first picture. Any luck yet?

Two Separate Triangle Illusions

How can this be true? Observe the picture closely and it will come to you. Feel free to comment about it, but try not to give it away. This is amongst the classic illusions out there. So where did the extra space come from?

If you enjoyed the one above, then you should enjoy the new one below. Once you understand the principle, you understand all the variations. I'll give you a hint: It's a mathematical illusion.

Weird Wednesday - Optical Illusion: Face Or Battle?

This is an unknown classic. I shouldn't say "unknown;" it's just seldom shown.

This artist's painting plain fabulous. Typically, your mind will first recognize the face; but if you look at the woman's hair, you'll see that it's alive with another person (a woman?) on a horse fighting a fire-breathing dragon. I guess the shoulders of the first-recognized face are the plains & hills of the setting. Do you see something I don't? I'm sure to miss a thing or two in these awesome optical illusions. Weird Wednesday - Optical Illusion: Woman or Girl?

This is amongst the classics, in deed. Nonetheless, it's an artist's drawing of the young woman/old woman optical illusion. This one has a little more detail if you just remember the basics: The old woman's eye is the young woman's ear. The old woman's wart is the young woman's nose, and the old woman's nose is the young woman's chin. Easy enough right? This optical illusion goes down in the history books for being one of the most recognized optical illusions, and should be included in any reports about the history of optical illusions!

Weird Wednesday - Optical Illusion: An Old Photograph

At first this photo seems to be a couple with a large head floating between them. But look again - things aren’t always what they seem.

Most people who look at this old photograph will probably see a large bearded head between the two figures. It looks like an image of "Jesus."

You’ll probably think it’s just a crude hoax from bygone days. But look again, carefully. This is not a hoax at all. What the photo actually shows is a child sitting on the man’s knee.

Block out the head’s “hair.” That’s just a collection of foliage in the background. The “eye” is the face the child, shadowed by a large white bonnet. The “nose” is the sleeve of the child’s shirt. And the “mustache” is the child’s arm, bent at the elbow.

Be patient. It may take you awhile to see this.
